Make Step your default browser on macOS

Set Step Browser as the default app for opening links from Mail, Slack, and other apps on your Mac.

Steps

Open System Settings
Click the Apple menu → System Settings, then choose Desktop & Dock from the sidebar.
Find the Default web browser option
Scroll to the Default web browser row. It lists every browser installed on your Mac.
Pick Step Browser
Open the menu and select Step Browser. The change takes effect immediately for new links you click.
Confirm with a test link
Click any link in Mail or Notes. macOS opens it in Step. To revert, repeat the steps and pick another browser.
