Every section of the sidebar, top to bottom, and what each one is for.

The sidebar is the spine of Step. Everything you do — open tabs, switch Spaces, drop into a saved group — happens here. It is intentionally calm and keyboard-friendly.
Top: Spaces switcher
Each Space appears as a colored avatar. Click to switch. Drag to reorder. Click + to create a new Space.
URL bar
The URL bar lives in the sidebar, not above the page. It searches the web, your tabs, your bookmarks, and your history all at once.
PINNED
Pinned and saved tabs. The sticky part of your Space. Drag tabs in from FLOW to promote them.
FLOW
Temporary tabs. They roll off after 12 hours of inactivity. Drag up to save, click the X to close.
Bottom: Settings, extensions, downloads
Quick access to extensions, downloads, and Step settings. Keep this tray collapsed by default; it expands on hover.
